A shadow version of ‘The Moon’, the Dark Moon is a marriage of hollow sterling silver ‘pearls’ and beautifully inky black Onyx spheres representing the darkness of the moon before her New Moon period. Lasting a brief few days, this liminal time is the one I’m most comfortable with and feel the most creative during.

This strand measures 43 inches long from end to end. At its closure is a double sided, 23mm textured full moon in sterling silver, hand oxidized and finished to achieve our signature shade of stormy gray. A tiny moon of your own to wear, to carry, to run your fingers over in times of worry or wonder.  

Designed to compliment other jewels in the Mourning/Ritual bead line it also layers beautifully with other BloodMilk necklaces. Its length and varying bead sizes makes it useful to use for meditation, mourning or ritual practices.

Onyx is best known for being a natural stone that acts as a kind of 'psychic armor' against the negativity of others. It is also used to sooth grief and heartbreak. It's a wonderful grounding stone and stone of self mastery, enabling its wearers to have mental and spiritual focus.
