An extra long version of our beloved Onyx Morgana strand.

Morgana is named after our own Jen Von Haunt's much beloved Sphynx cat who used to visit us in the studio when we worked with a smaller staff, bringing us much comfort and happiness. 

The Cat:

Cats occupy a liminal space between worlds, at ease in dark, nighttime settings. In fairytales they have acted as psychopomps and have long been associated with the spirit world. Anyone who has lived with a cat knows they oscillate wildly between calmness and fierceness and are never really ‘owned’ by any human.

Onyx: 

Onyx is best known for being a natural stone that acts as a kind of 'psychic armor' against the negativity of others. It is also used to sooth grief and heartbreak. It's a wonderful grounding stone and stone of self mastery, enabling its wearers to have mental and spiritual focus.

Spinel:

Spinel is a potent stone for healing and protection: working to help clear intense emotions such as anger and rage, it imbues its wearer with a sense of calm. It is also used to heal the physical body and has powerful metaphysical qualities, helping its wearer to feel strong, assisting with perseverance, especially when dealing with issues from the past that have become difficult to overcome. Much like Onyx, it also helps repel negativity from others.

This strand measures 52 inches long from end to end. At its closure is our medium sized double sided, sterling silver Eye talisman clasp, hand oxidized and finished to achieve our signature shade of stormy gray. 

This 'Opera Length' makes it ideal for wearing doubled or tripled up. Designed to compliment other jewels in the Mourning/Ritual bead line it also layers beautifully with other BloodMilk necklaces. Its length and varying bead sizes makes it useful for meditation, mourning or ritual practices.
