Hand collected rose thorns cast immortal in sterling silver and strung like small jewels on a sterling chain. Silver has been oxidized to achieve my obsessive shade of gloomy gray. One large thorn and two tiny thorns are clustered around one another and move freely on the chain.

When I think of rose thorns, the fairy tale of 'Sleeping Beauty', (Briar-Rose) always comes to mind, how her body, forever asleep, was vaulted in a crumbling castle bound with big thorny vines......

The thorns are strung on a 16" or 18" sterling bar link chain, oxidized to match.
